About the position

The Assistant Professor - Psychology will contribute to the Faculty of Society & Designs teaching and research profile, engage in clinical and other professional activities and provide administrative support within the Faculty. Candidates from all sub-disciplines of psychology will be considered, but applications from candidates with expertise in cognition and experimental psychology are especially welcomed.

About the person:

The successful candidate must be student focused and possess a strong teaching record, along with evidence of experience in contemporary teaching methods such as; active learning, small group learning, web-based learning and technology enhanced learning.

Possession of a PhD in Psychology and an active record of research and publications are also essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong research expertise and an eagerness to contribute to the multi-discipline environment on offer in the Faculty of Society & Design.

The salary for the position of Assistant Professor B will be $115,033 plus superannuation.  Salary packaging options are available
