Student Administration provides expert administrative support and professional advice to the University in relation to academic administration, in addition to arranging key student-facing events. 

The Tier 4 Compliance team sits within Student Administration and provides expert support and professional advice to the University in relation to the Home Office’s Tier 4 Sponsor compliance requirements. The Tier 4 Compliance team work closely with other areas of the University, including College Offices, International Advice team and the Student Support Centre in ensuring that both Tier 4 visa students and the University are compliant to the duties attached to the Tier 4 Sponsor Licence.

We have an exciting opportunity for a clerical officer to join the Tier 4 Compliance Team, helping to provide effective and efficient support for students and staff to meet University policies and requirements set by the Home Office. 

The post holder will be expected to support the Attendance Monitoring system by verifying data on scanned registers so that there is an accurate and auditable record of all students’ attendance.  The role will also support the Tier 4 Compliance team in keeping accurate records of international student details and documents to satisfy the University’s responsibilities to UK Visas and Immigration.
