The Centre for Public Health (CPH) sits within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen's University Belfast. The Centre aims to advance the health of the public at a regional, national and international level, by increasing knowledge and influencing clinical and public health practice and policy.
We are recruiting for a Research Fellow who will be located in CPH and work on a study funded by NI Chest Heart and Stroke. The Research Fellow will manage a collaborative research project which involves the adaptation of a psychological intervention for stroke survivors who have cognitive impairment and evaluation of the feasibility and acceptability of the intervention for stroke survivors, their families and healthcare professionals, including those delivering the intervention. The project will involve the organisation and facilitation of workshops and semi-structured interviews with various stakeholders including stroke survivors and their families, the development of a logic model, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and dissemination of project findings.
