We now have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, College Operations based in Townsville on a full time, continuing basis.

As part of the Division of Tropical Environments and Societies, the College of Business, Law and Governance promotes, fosters, supports and administers quality teaching and research at JCU in the areas of Business and Law.

The College of Business, Law and Governance promotes, fosters, supports and administers quality teaching and research across three key areas; law, business and conflict management and resolution. A primary focus of the College is ethics, sustainability and governance as well as an understanding of complex business systems. With a trajectory of opportunity and growth, the College are looking to appoint a leader with vision, integrity and drive to deliver tangible outcomes now and into the future.

With superior communication, negotiation and influencing skills, you maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Utilising existing industry networks you will further develop strategic relationships to ensure College interests are well represented and opportunities are created.

Your proven experience leading and managing human, financial and physical resources coupled with your ability to identify efficiencies will ensure your team are delivering high quality service and support to students, staff and affiliates. Integral to your success will be your policy and strategy development experience ensuring solid foundations for growth are formed. Your demonstrated senior operational management knowledge and experience of budgeting, contracting, project and infrastructure management gained within a complex organisation will also be highly regarded.
