Marketing and External Affairs are seeking a talented and driven Head of Stakeholder and External Affairs. This is a senior leadership role that will lead the development and implementation of a broad stakeholder engagement strategy. The strategy will support the pillars of the corporate plan in the areas of student experience, research and, enterprise and innovation. Furthermore, the activity will deliver our ambitions to provide an innovative response to the corporate social responsibility and civic institution agenda.
A requirement of the role will be the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in relation to data-driven methods to measure stakeholder engagement. The aim will be to ensure we establish and maintain valued relationships with the communities in which we operate and the stakeholders with whom we engage.
With this role there comes an expectation to lead by example and develop a culture of high performance. The ability to identify, implement and embed both the right culture and efficient processes to ensure individuals and the team deliver outstanding results is key.
Person Specification:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding communicator and ability to develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy and plans, combining both traditional and digital media.
- Experienced leadership capability; can demonstrate the ability to build and develop high performance.
- A passion for education and the development of social value that supports communities and engages stakeholders.
