The Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audiences, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants.
We are recruiting to the role of Head of Digital Communications and Planning, which is responsible for the strategic leadership of Queen Mary’s website (content and technical development), the management of our verbal and visual brand identity, the management of our content and editorial strategy and function, the line management of our Faculty Communications Managers (with the support of the Head of Public Relations and Internal Communications), and for coordinating the planning and evaluation of all communications activities. This role is part of the Communications leadership team.

The role is a permanent full time appointment based at our Mile End campus. Starting salary will be £54,853-£57,984 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
