Full-time, continuing appointment.

The School of Science, Engineering and Information Technology offers a range of Bachelor degrees in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Mining), Mathematics, Information Technology and Science (primarily Metallurgy and Geology). The School received an ERA rank 5 in the civil engineering area in 2019.

The School is establishing a range of programs in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Data Science and Engineering Project Management and has an almost unique capability in Australia in that it delivers programs in Geology, Mining Engineering and Mineral Processing that supports the strong resources sector. These new and contemporary programs are targeted toward meeting the rapidly changing skills need for professional engineers that can support the growth of industry.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and deliver Engineering Project Management related programs and courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as supervise students, and participate in team projects. You will also make a significant contribution to the School’s research program at the national level, through publications and grant applications.

Your proven record in the development and implementation of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programs, natural leadership ability, demonstrated evidence of high-quality teaching, including recognition of research and publications relevant to Engineering Project Management disciplines will ensure your success in this role.

The salary is within the Academic Level C range $115,666 to $133,374 p.a. or Academic Level D range $139,277 to $153,435 p.a plus 17% superannuation.

Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
