The opportunity

We are currently looking for a suitably qualified Lecturer / Senior Lecturer make a substantial contribution to the teaching profile of the Queensland Conservatorium in Cello. This position will be primarily responsible for the teaching of cello in the strings area, as well as contribution to teaching of undergraduate, honours and higher degree programs and courses in relevant areas of expertise.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the South Bank campus.

About you

To be successful within this role, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of current teaching and learning principles as evidenced by an outstanding national or international profile as a performer or teacher. You will have a developing research profile and for candidates looking to apply at Senior Lecturer, you will have demonstrated experience in Program leadership.

Salary range

Lecturer, Level B: $94,361 - $112,057 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $110,403 - $131,108 per annum.

Senior Lecturer, Level C: $115,593 - $133,289 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $135,244 - $155,949 per annum.
