Job Summary

The goal of the work is to study stability of quantum many-body scar states discovered recently in the Rydberg-blockaded atom chain.

Job Duties

The work will involve analytical and numerical calculations using exact diagonalization and DMRG methods and will explore the original chain model and its perturbations, and will also involve explorations of new models that can host scar states.

Basic Qualifications

– Graduate level education in this line of research
– Experience with DMRG and diagonalization methods of calculations
– Strong background in analytical and numerical techniques in strongly correlated systems, and in particular in problems of thermalization in closed quantum systems
– Advanced knowledge in exact diagonalization and DMRG
