We have a number of full time, fixed-term opportunities up to two years for Human Research Coordinator’s ($74,530 - $80,724) to set up and coordinate clinical trials as well as research projects.

What you will accomplish in this role

You will be an important part of a team that is recognised for its effective research efforts. The Queensland Research Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease (QRC-PVD) within the College of Medicine and Dentistry at JCU has a focus on exploring treatment and management options for peripheral vascular disease.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your research experience in the area of vascular disease and clinical trials. You will further develop experience preparing ethics and governance applications, coordinating clinical trials, organising data and contributing to manuscript publications.

What you can bring

We are looking for a motivated and task orientated team player with experience conducting human clinical research and a relevant tertiary qualification in health (e.g. nursing, allied health, medicine etc.). You will also have strong communications skills, attention to detail and fantastic organisation skills.

Your experience in human clinical research will add capacity to our group and provide leadership to junior research workers and research support for senior researchers.
