Applications are invited for a fixed-term Lectureship in US Politics and Policy. We seek to appoint an experienced lecturer to teach and convene modules in Politics, primarily in the area of US Politics and Policy, plus provide supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, and academic advising of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Politics and / or relevant professional qualification and / or equivalent professional experience, together with the ability to deliver teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the subject areas of Politics, specifically US Politics and Policy.
The post is full time, for twelve months, starting from 1st September 2019. Starting salary will be in the range £41,682 - £44,015 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
