The Directorate of Development and Alumni Engagement at Queen Mary University of London is seeking an Alumni Engagement Officer to support and develop its alumni engagement activities, primarily within the UK, in order to meaningfully engage former students in the life and work of the University. 

The Alumni Engagement Officer will work closely with colleagues in the Directorate, wider Professional Services and academic Schools to support existing activity and the development of new opportunities that increase engagement. The Alumni Engagement Officer will help to develop a robust and engaging annual programme of alumni communications and events. These activities will be delivered in support of the University’s strategic objectives to increase philanthropic and non-philanthropic support from alumni.

The post is a full-time, permanent appointment. Starting salary will be in the range of £27,251 - £33,615 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include generous annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
