The Department of Finance and Insurance (http://www.LN.edu.hk/fin_ins/) is one of the constituent departments that contributes to the undergraduate programme of Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degree.  The Department is responsible for offering finance and insurance subjects to students.

The appointee should be able to contribute to the development and teaching of a variety of courses in Finance and Insurance and Risk management at the undergraduate level.  The medium of instruction is English and a good command of the language is required.

General Requirements

Applicants should have a PhD degree in relevant discipline. Applicants for the post of Visiting Senior Lecturer should have substantial relevant experience.  For appointment as Visiting Lecturer, applicants should have at least 4 years’ relevant experience.  Applicants with industry experience and professional qualifications in Finance and Risk Management are highly desirable.

Appointment

The conditions of appointment will be competitive.  The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee.  The appointment will normally be made on a fixed-term contract of ten months.
