The role of Senior Lecturer in Strategy makes an outstanding contribution to the School of Management by enhancing leadership capability in teaching, research and professional activities. Contributing in the development and teaching of high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate (including MBA), online programs and executive education offerings, this position will provide specific expertise and focus in Strategy and Services Management disciplines. A strong contribution to high quality research, securing research funding, and supervision of research students is also expected.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate extensive teaching, program development and research experience with discipline expertise in Strategic Management relating to services management, strategic operations management and/or professional services streams. Experience working collaboratively with business, industry, government and the services management professions to support research and teaching outcomes will be important.
Industry experience gained from service operations or professional services management in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, events management, transportation/logistics, manufacturing, health or defence will be highly regarded.
