Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a large multi-campus University serving communities in Western Australia and a significant cohort of international students. The University is constantly adapting to be well-positioned for new challenges and opportunities.
The newly established University Portfolio Management Office (UPMO) supports and oversees the delivery of large-scale (e.g. University-wide) strategic and or high value change projects (the University portfolio) on behalf of the University Executive and Strategic Asset Management Committee.
The University PMO Analyst is responsible for analysis and reporting on the University’s strategic project portfolio as well as reporting on the status, risk profiles and benefits of the projects within the portfolio.
The role will provide strategic and operational support by setting up regular project status reporting for senior portfolio stakeholders that include risk, issues, resource and schedule tracking, quality control and post project benefits tracking and reporting. The role will also support the development of project management methodologies and processes and ensure adherence to these.
- Previous experience in a similar role with exposure to project/PMO management
- Experience in developing and establishing best practices and frameworks for a PMO
- Identify, monitor and report on risks, issues, anomalies and areas of concern in the University portfolio to the UPMO lead to assist with resolution. Follow up on outstanding actions.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships with Project Sponsors and Managers, maintaining the integrity of reporting by challenging status reporting and raising queries.

This full time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $87,200 - $97,898 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
