STUDENT SUCCESS AND WELLNESS ADMINISTRATOR, School of Engineering-Office of Engineering Outreach Programs (OEOP), to collaborate with program staff and leadership to support the personal, emotional, social, and academic goals and success of high-achieving, underserved, 7th to 12th grade students in OEOP's rigorous residential, online, and Saturday science and engineering education enrichment programs. Will foster an environment that helps students thrive and transition into and through STEM-focused programs, while providing culturally-sensitive support. Responsibilities include creating and documenting plans/strategies to address student needs/concerns; providing general assistance, resources, and referrals to address the mental health needs/well-being of students/recent alumni; training and providing guidance to instructional and residential staff in fostering a healthy, safe, and supportive environment; implementing program activities and communications supporting social-emotional health, academic success, and cultural diversity; providing case management services to students and families; and providing guidance to and sharing resources with high school participants and recent alumni to support their successful application and transition to college.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field; at least three years’ professional clinical or counseling experience providing treatment/support to adolescents and their families; understanding of and commitment to diversity and serving underrepresented, underserved communities with diverse socio-emotional and learning needs; commitment to working with families and students as partners in education; ability to multitask, manage time, and remain organized in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and written and oral communication skills; and ability to collaborate with a diverse team. Massachusetts’ license as a social worker, mental health counselor, or school social worker issued by DESE a plus.
