HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) COORDINATOR, edX, to provide support for employees and build programs that will help edX scale. Will partner with the HR manager and head of people and culture on a range of HR activities including onboarding, employee engagement and recognition, and performance management. Responsibilities include acting as the onboarding/orientation leader for all of edX, owning all program enhancements and updates; promoting and increasing employee engagement by managing employee recognition programs, organizing company-wide events, and writing the monthly HR newsletter; serving as the first point-of-contact for most HR questions, including payroll and benefits, and independently resolving or escalating as appropriate; becoming an HRIS expert, proactively guiding edX to fully leverage the Namely software package while maintaining accurate employee information; providing support with employee relations issues in coordination with the manager of HR; and running reports and identifying HR data trends that advance strategic initiatives around employee engagement and improving the edX culture.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in HR or related area; two years’ related experience; sound judgment and ability to efficiently resolve a variety of sensitive issues; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; demonstrated strength building relationships and working consultatively with a diverse group of people at all levels; strong technical skills and experience using all Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, HR systems, and Google Sheets or MS Excel; knowledge of state and local employment laws; ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment; and detail-orientation.
