Position Summary

The English and Language Studies Department at Indiana University Kokomo invites applications for a one-year visiting lecturer position in English beginning August 1st, 2019. Candidates should have a master’s degree in English. The potential exists for this position to be renewed beyond the first year.
The course load will be 4/4 over a ten-month period. Candidates must be able to teach introductory courses in English composition (ENG-W 131 and ENG-W 221) in face to face classes, the Freshman Learning Community (FLC) program, or online/hybrid. The position will focus on introductory composition courses. In addition to teaching writing courses, the successful candidate may also assist the Director of Writing or the Director of the Writing Center with administrative duties as needed.
