The Associate Dean of Finance will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for Khoury College of Computer Sciences. The College has multiple funding sources including an operating budget of approximately $59M (direct and indirect), $60+ million in active research grants, $10.3M in designated/restricted funds, and $7.5M in gifts. He/she will be a dedicated partner to the Dean and an integral part of the college’s senior leadership team. The Associate Dean oversees a team in the areas of financial management, data analysis and grants administration. This position works closely with college deans, SVP’s and program directors and provides leadership, expertise, and recommendations in the areas of hybrid budget management and research administration.

The position is also responsible for leading growth at the graduate campuses, which includes Seattle, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto and London. He/she must be able to prepare financial analyses for upper management using data from multiple sources and subject areas, prepare quarterly earnings reports including budget-to-actual performance, and develop cost structures and proposals with other colleges to create a long-range financial plan for all campuses. He/she will work closely with the dean to create financial models based on projected enrollments and expenses. This position will also be responsible for leading the automation of all manual processes in the college and ensuring data across the college is reported accurately and consistently.
