The Neuropsychiatry Section of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Lifespan Brain Institute (LiBI) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) have an opening for a a Clinical Research Coordinator A to conduct research efforts across several projects in unison with related research programs at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. The coordinator will assist in all aspects of the human-subjects research including recruitment, screen and assessment of potential participants, scheduling of research visits, conduct semi-structured clinical interviews with participants and their parents, administration of neurocognitive tests, screening for fMRI and EEG studies and collection and maintenance of data. The Coordinator will also be responsible for administrative aspects of the project including IRB submissions and preparation of progress reports.

We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, counseling, nursing or other related fields, and 1 to 3 years clinical trial/clinical research experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with individuals with psychotic disorders and children/adolescents, as well as experience in semi-structured diagnostic interviewing and psychological testing are preferred. The candidate must have strong organizational, leadership, supervision, communication and computer skills. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends will be required.

Must pass Pennsylvania s Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
