The Department of Theatre seeks to appoint a three-year fixed-term 0.6 FTE Senior Teaching Associate, who will contribute to and develop the department’s provision of teaching at all levels. You must have been awarded a doctorate in a relevant field and have experience of higher education teaching and assessment.

You will be expected to contribute to both workshop and seminar based teaching on courses such as: Introduction to Performance Practices, Performance Histories, Politics of Performance, Performance Forms and Analysis, Contemporary British Theatre and Staging the Text. You will also be expected to develop and teach new units determined by the needs of the curriculum and the postholder’s expertise. You will be expected to provide academic support and guidance to students and to contribute to the administrative functioning of the department as appropriate, including contributing to recruitment and outreach activities.
