Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 495758), to commence on August 1, 2019 for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in psychology, behavioral health sciences, or related disciplines, with experience in interacting with families, dyadic studies, and multilevel analyses using advanced programming software.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and be able to work independently in a research setting.  Those who are anticipating a Ph.D. degree will also be considered.

The appointee will primarily work on a large-scale community project involving adolescents and parents to examine both psycho-social functioning and biological markers of well-being.  Opportunities to work on other studies about stress biology exist. Candidates are strongly encouraged  to establish an early career research program at the intersection of social an medical sciences, and will be expected to develop models using prospective and big data.
