Associate Professor / Professor (Ethics) (PR0368/18-19)  

The appointee is expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels related to Religious Ethics, Philosophical Ethics, or Applied Ethics. The teaching is both for undergraduate General Education and for B.A. in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics. He/She is also expected to conduct high-level independent research in the field of Ethics or Applied Ethics, supervise postgraduate students and research assistants, and contribute creatively and professionally to the Department and the Faculty. Administrative duties will be required as assigned by the Department/Faculty.

Applicants should possess a relevant PhD degree with a strong track record of research and teaching accomplishments. Those applying for a Professor rank should demonstrate an outstanding track record of publications and grant capture, as well as strong leadership potential and administrative capacities.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Outstanding candidates for the rank of Associate Professor or above may be considered for appointment with tenure.
