Assistant Nurse Manager - General Medicine
To work with nursing leadership to direct nursing service activities in the assigned care unit for the duration of one shift and/or in the absence of the Nurse Manager. To provide professional nursing care for patients in assigned care unit. To support nursing leadership in the coordination of patient care, personnel management, physician/interdisciplinary collaboration and general administrative duties.
Salary Range: $29.02 - $46.02
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in a BSN completion program and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for minimum education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
