Assistant, Department of Athletics
The University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for an “Associate To” to work in the Men’s Basketball program. This is a full-time position, with a comprehensive benefits package.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of complex administrative functions of a confidential nature for the Head Coach and the Men’s Basketball program. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Recommend the development of operating policies and procedures, advise and assist in policy and strategy formulation.
- Prepare responses to inquiries.
- Prepare memos as required.
- Identify and review problem areas and work on improvement of operations.
- Review and evaluate proposals concerning operational activities.
- Act as liaison with several units at the university as well as external offices and agencies to ensure conformity to external policies and procedures.
- Represent the Head Coach with moderate authority on administrative policies and procedures.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience, OR Associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience; OR seven (7) years of experience. Degree and experience must be in a related field. The position requires some evening and weekend hours.
