This role is full-time and fixed term from 1 September 2019 - 31 August 2020.
The Department of History at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the fixed term role of Lecturer. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in Twentieth-Century Russian History. The post-holder will be expected to teach a level 2 module ‘Soviet Socialism in the Cold War: The USSR 1945-1991’, a strand of the level 2 historiographical module (‘Conversations with History’) taught in small seminar groups (‘Interpreting Stalin’s Soviet Union’), contribute to the level 1 module ‘Making History’, and undertake some undergraduate and MA dissertation supervision.
