The Research Specialist A will develop statistical models to guide the search of urban environments for vectors of Chagas disease, and code these into an Application.

The Research Specialist A will develop optimization algorithms to determine the best routes by which to search a city for bed bugs, coding these into an app for presentation to the Ministry of Health in Peru.

A Bachelor’s Degree and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experienced in R and Shiny
Experienced in Statistical Modeling
Experienced with manuscript preparation and analysis
Knowledge of Chagas disease vectors
Fluent in writing and speaking Spanish
