We are seeking two dynamic individuals to act as Trial Coordinator/Research Site Managers for the NAP SACC UK (The Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care) study which is a multi-centre cluster randomised controlled trial evaluating an intervention in nurseries aiming to increase physical activity and health eating in 2-4-year olds. This post offers an excellent opportunity to join a new study, working as part of a multidisciplinary team within the University of Bristol, and with collaborators at the Universities of Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow and in the USA.

The Trial Coordinator/Research Site Manager’s role is central to the success of this National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded trial. The post requires strong organisational and research skills to support the 39-month study with approximately 13 nurseries based in one Local Government area (Swindon or Exeter).

For informal enquiries, contact Ruth Kipping by email ruth.kipping@bristol.ac.uk, or by telephone on 0117 3314584.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world’s leading universities.
