Role Description

Are you looking to develop your career in marketing and communications? We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Assistant to provide support to our marketing team. If you have experience writing for the web, using social media and supporting events and want to develop your wider marketing and communications skills we want to hear from you.

You will be based in one of the marketing teams supporting a School within the University but will also work closely with other colleagues in International Partnerships and Student Recruitment.  You will be communicating our range of distinctive courses, world-class research and excellent facilities to prospective students, industry and other stakeholders around the globe.

As well as developing adverts you will work on marketing campaigns, organising recruitment events, writing and updating the website, sourcing images and video content, you will be researching, creating and publishing high quality content through multiple channels to promote the University.

You must be educated to A Level standard or have equivalent experience, relevant marketing and/or communications experience, strong verbal and written skills and the ability to write in a range of styles and use email, Word and Excel computer software effectively. The ability to build effective working relationships, working collaboratively and co-operatively with internal and external stakeholders, flexibility, adaptable to change and ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail are all essential requirements.
