Operate large transit buses to transport passengers on regular campus routes and charter trips.

Required Qualifications*

Transit coach experience preferred.

Able to pass DOT drug screen and physical exam.

Good driving record.

Able to communicate with various entities in various settings, perform simple math, demonstrate knowledge of the Ann Arbor campus environment and map interpretation skills.

Must have a Commercial Driver's License (Group B, Passenger and Air Brake endorsements).

DOT Medical Certificate.

Work Schedule

Full Time: 40 hours per week. Varied days and hours Sun thru Sat.

Seasonal Appointment: May thru August off without pay.

Union Affiliation

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the AFSCME union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
