Job Summary

The Department of Learning Health Sciences (DLHS) is a first-in-the nation basic science department that focuses on the sciences that make learning effective, routine, efficient and scalable. Our research programs generate new knowledge that can enhance learning at all levels of scale (organizations, systems and nations in addition to individuals and groups); our educational programs train new researchers and practitioners who apply the sciences of learning; and our service programs help health systems transform into learning health systems and advanced health professions education.

DLHS is seeking a Research Analyst to support health-related data analysis and machine learning research using clinical data. The analyses will be used to inform scientific publications, grants, and the development of open-source predictive modeling tools. The research analyst is expected to contribute to the selection of appropriate modeling methods informed by prior machine learning research and to writing relevant portions of scientific manuscripts and grants describing methods and results.
