We are seeking applications from exceptional individuals to join an enthusiastic and creative team working on the well-respected High Intensity CBT Programme (PG Diploma in Psychological Intervention) at the University of Surrey.

The curriculum developed by the Department of Health attracts trainees from a variety of professional backgrounds which requires the teaching staff to scaffold learning in creative ways to capture the trainees’ imagination to facilitate and support their learning experience. Applicants should be accredited with the British Association of Behavioural Psychotherapy and will take ownership and pride in contributing to the teaching, supervision, and academic support required by the role.

As part of the School of Psychology in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences we have opportunities to develop and enhance links within other Psychological disciplines, medical and nursing professionals, and bio-medical scientists to develop inter-professional learning as well as increasing research synergies. The University has been recognised as being within the top 30 in the country and our ambition is to ensure that we remain at the leading edge in this field.

If you are someone who enjoys working as part of an innovative team, and developing the potential of others, for the benefit of individuals who are experiencing psychological distress, we would be keen to receive an application from you.

In return we offer a generous annual leave allowance, defined pension scheme, access to membership for the Surrey Sports Park, on-site childcare facilities and relocation allowance (where applicable).
