Vacancy Ref: 025734
Grade 6: £28,660 - £32,236 per annum
This post is full time (35 hours per week) with funding available for 24 months from start date.
You will join the lab of Dr Daniel Murphy to work on a set-piece project sponsored by Puma Biotechnology. The aim of the project is to extend the pre-clinical evaluation of a multi-ERBB inhibitor for treatment of KRAS-mutant lung cancer, based on the labs’ previously published works (Kruspig et al, Sci Trans Med 2018; Neidler et al, Preprints 2019). The post is fully funded for an initial 2-year period and extension will be contingent upon satisfactory performance and the completion of milestones agreed with Puma Biotech.
In addition, you will be required to deliver quarterly progress reports for discussion with Puma Biotech representatives. You will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and further research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project, as opportunities allow.
