About the position

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor who will play a key role in ongoing development and teaching into the Occupational Therapy discipline.

The position will contribute to the Faculty and University by providing leadership in research and scholarship, teaching, academic administration and community engagement, particularly in the professional field of occupational therapy.

About the person:

The successful applicant will have a PhD and be recognised for professional and/or academic occupational therapy practice, with well-developed leadership, management and team building skills and a performance record commensurate with level of appointment.

Candidates will be expected to have a track record in occupational therapy professional practice, research and scholarship and teaching and learning practice. Registration as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility) in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is a requirement of this role.

The commencing salary for this appointment is $143 126 pa plus superannuation, negotiable commensurate with skills and experience and be fully competitive in the Australian market. Salary packaging options are available for eligible employees.
