The Clearing Assistant job offers the opportunity to work in a student recruitment setting for the University of Greenwich. Those employed will assist permanent Recruitment Team staff in their summer recruitment activities which include completing application forms for university admission. Core activities undertaken by all Clearing Assistants include providing support and guidance to university enquirers, applicants, academics and new students who are using the UCAS Clearing process to enter Higher Education.
The Recruitment team are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail alongside organisation, IT/computer literacy and great team working skills. Further information about each Clearing Assistant task role is shown below.
Key Roles include:
- Answering incoming queries from prospective students and applicants via telephone, email, Live Chat and face-to-face
- Processing clearing applications
- Assisting with face-to-face queries regarding registration
- Providing support to new students on campus during Welcome Week
