About the Job

We are looking for an exceptional policy & reporting specialist to join a creative and flexible team in an ongoing role as Graduate Research Policy & Impact Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive, detail-oriented and organised individual to take the next step in your career in Australia’s University of Enterprise.

You will drive the development, implementation and review of policies; inform decision-making through high-level reporting; and contribute to strategic projects within the Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) portfolio.  Working with the Dean Graduate Studies, senior committees and stakeholders internal & external to the university, you will also contribute to outcomes as part of the Graduate Research Development team, which are focussed towards excellence and transformation in research degrees and research degree training.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will have appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and extensive relevant experience of policy development and implementation preferably in a Higher Education, research and/or HDR-linked capacity. You will bring strong data science skills and experience analysing and interpreting complex datasets. You will have excellent analytical, research and writing skills to enable the effective synthesis of complex information and data, as well as a proactive approach to identifying strategic business needs.

Well-developed communication skills, diplomacy high-level policy management, written and analysis skills are essential for this role.
