Clinical Operations Assistant
The Clinical Operations Assistant will report directly to the Director of Clinical Operations for the School of Nursing. S/he will provide diversified administrative support and activities and is responsible for maintaining administrative systems to ensure efficient operation of the Clinical Placement Office.
The Clinical Operations Assistant will serve as a member of a team-oriented staff providing optimal service to our clinical partners, faculty, staff, and students. Duties include but are not limited to: processing background checks for incoming students and part-time clinical faculty, collecting and tracking clinical clearance documents, as well as maintaining data required for accreditation.
The Assistant will communicate appropriately on behalf of the School of Nursing and use judgment and diplomacy while interfacing with others. This person will work with highly confidential information and must exercise discretion concerning dissemination. S/he must prioritize competing tasks while working in a hectic environment. The primary objective of this position is to assist the Clinical Placement office in the school of nursing to fulfill its mission and achieve its goals.
