Senior Program Coordinator – China

Position Summary

Lead Visiting International Professional Program ("VIPP") development by working with stakeholders, including MSU offices, US and overseas government agencies and universities and organizations in both public and private sectors in MSU's priority regions. Responsible for proposal development, program design and coordination, academic advising, support of international participants and funding agencies and partnership development and management. Develop relationships with VIPP partners, including Chinese universities and agencies to identify professional training opportunities. Maintain relationships with key partners and VIPP alumni in China. Develop program proposals to meet sponsorship requirements, including fee-for-service programs from China. Support VIPP Communication team's preparation and promotion of program materials in Chinese. Deliver programs by designing schedules, orientation, seminars, and panel discussions.

Required Degree

Masters -Linguistics, second language studies

Minimum Requirements

Master's in linguistics, second language studies or related field
Three years of program coordinating or international education experience with Chinese organizations required.
Must read, write and speak Mandarin Chinese.
