Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 495605), to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree by research (Ph.D. or equivalent) in psychiatry, with some post-degree experience in psychiatric epidemiology. They should have excellent organizational and communication skills, and strong quantitative research and analytical skills. Demonstrated expertise in epidemiology, psychiatric interviews, large scale database management and statistical analysis (e.g. SPSS, Stata, SAS, R, Mplus) is required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
