It is a multi‑disciplinary and multi‑practice facility, which provides quality services in lifestyle assessment and lifestyle change programs, as well as exercise rehabilitation.

About the role

  • $72, 880 - $82, 467 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
  • 3-year Fixed Term, Full-time opportunity (35 hours per week)

The UNSW Medicine Lifestyle Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic, well organised and self-motivated Exercise Physiologist to join its team.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of services within the Clinic as well as practicum supervision, program development and quality control.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A degree in Exercise Science or equivalent and/or Exercise Physiology accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) with preferably 2 years subsequent relevant experience in chronic disease management;
  • Experience conducting patient consultations as well as delivering primary and secondary prevention services, and a demonstrated capacity to evaluate the services via outcome-based research relating to exercise physiology;
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and an ability to work cooperatively within a small team as well as independently with minimum supervision.
