As the Clinical Facilitator – Midwifery, you will oversee all aspects of clinical practicum for CQUniversity Midwifery students at Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital (RBWH), or other clinical facilities as directed by Head of Course. You will support preceptors and clinical staff in their interactions with students, work closing with RBWH staff to facilitate learning and assessment, whilst adhering to RBWH and CQUniversity policies and procedures. as a member of the academic program team, lead and participate in the delivery of foundation and profession-focused units across the campuses.

As a facilitator you will have experience in clinical teaching and assessment, as you will be interreacting with various stakeholders including students and RBWH staff it is expected you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements:

• Must be a current registered Midwife with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA); and at least 3 years recent post registration clinical experience. (mandatory)
• Understanding of clinical placement requirements. (mandatory)
• Proven detailed knowledge of business support software including word processing, spread-sheeting, information management systems and email, and using large corporate information systems. (mandatory)
