Position overview

The Postdoctoral Fellow will undertake independent and/or team lead research on the ARC CE140100015 Centre of Excellence for Translational Photosynthesis Project. We invite applications from researchers whose interests are in the areas of stomatal conductance, mesophyll conductance, gas exchange and/or stable isotope physiology, extending from the leaf to the canopy. Experience that is relevant to plant physiological research in areas: stomatal conductance, mesophyll conductance, photosynthesis and/or environmental biology.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will have a PhD in plant physiology, physics, physical chemistry or engineering, relevant to stable isotopes, plant water relations, gas exchange or microscopy, with a track record of independent research in one of these fields as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

The position is currently full-time, but part-time would be considered for the ideal applicant. The position is a continuing contingent funded (CCF) appointment, with funding available for 12 months, with the possibility of 6 month extension pending on funding availability.
