Program Development Specialist
The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar (CNA-Q) is inviting applications for the position of Program Development Specialist in the Program Development and Academic Quality Department. Reporting to the Academic Manager of Program Development and Academic Quality, the successful applicant must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Program Development and Academic Quality Department in implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Program Development Specialist, under the direction of the Academic Manager, Program Development and Academic Quality, provides technical and pedagogical expertise in the leadership of program development and review initiatives. The Program Development Specialist leads the development and review of credit and non-credit programs, including technical writing, editing and documentation production of program proposals and course outlines, ensuring they meet established quality guidelines and standards.
The Program Development Specialist works with students, alumni, industry, teams, committees, and content experts to facilitate program development and review, providing expertise on program development frameworks. The Program Development Specialist manages an electronic database of courses and programs and communicates program changes in order to ensure timely compliance to program and accreditation standards. The Program Development Specialist provides support in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines governing the PDAQ Department and maintains familiarity with CNA-Q admissions policy and program requirements.
Education and Certifications:
Master’s degree is required.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the post-secondary sector. Relevant teaching and/or education certifications. In-depth knowledge of the principles of program design, program development, accreditation, adult teaching and learning strategies, and continuous improvement processes. Demonstrated expertise in needs analysis and evaluation methods. This position requires excellent organizational, decision-making, analytical, problem solving, project management, and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Fluency in written and spoken English language. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is preferred
