The Web Manager is responsible for the maintenance, expansion, and development of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business website – both the technical aspects and its content. He/she ensures high performance of the website, which provides information, drives enrollment, and enhances the reputation of the school.
The Web Manager will be the lead liaison between external contractors, Northeastern Information Technology Services, and the school, maintaining and troubleshooting issues with the website by ensuring appropriate integrity, vendor management, and routine upgrades. He/she will serve as the point of contact for technical website issues and work with the D’Amore-McKim Communications and Marketing teams to optimize the website for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Further, he/she will be the administrator for the content management system (CMS), WordPress, and the intranet (SharePoint) while maintaining user accounts and associated policies. He/she will also work with Communications and Marketing staff, vendors, and other D’Amore-McKim stakeholders to plan new website projects and activities, creating workflow procedures and accountability for the website.
Working under the Director of Communications, the Web Manager will supervise the work of multiple site editors and authors who are distributed across the various D’Amore-McKim departments and Academic Groups
