Duties    

The Clinical Research Coordinator A will provide research support to up to three innovative research projects that leverage principles of behavioral economics and participatory design to improve the delivery of evidence-based practices in community mental health. The clinical research coordinator (CRC) will coordinate and support the development of study materials, recruit and consent participants, collect and enter quantitative and qualitative data, create and maintain databases, oversee undergraduate employees, and prepare and submit IRB documents. This position will also assist with maintaining and nurturing positive working relationships with community partners and study participants.

Qualifications    

A Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related health field with 1-3 years’ experience. Previous experience working in community mental health centers, interacting with children and families, and/or experience in implementation science are desired. Previous experience in a research environment is preferred. Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, NVivo, databases (SPSS), and online survey software (REDCap) is also preferred. Outstanding organizational skills are essential. Exquisite attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term projects; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly given the community partner aspect of this work; and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are all essential for this position. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.

Must pass Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
