The Department of the Built Environment, Faculty of Engineering Technology is seeking applications for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Building Services Engineering & Architectural Engineering.

You will have a PhD in a closely related area, and proven research or professional experience in Building Services Engineering and Architectural Engineering, or a related area. You will be expected to contribute to research and teaching in the above area. Knowledge and practical experience of simulation, thermal modelling and/or BIM packages, e.g. IES, COMSOL, Revit (specifically MEP), Autodesk Energy Analysis would be an advantage.

You should have a wealth of experience about various teaching and research related activities including but not limited to high quality journal publications, research income generation, PhD supervision, interactive teaching, industrial engagement and involved in the delivery of collaborative programmes nationally and internationally.

You should have knowledge and understanding of the National Student Survey (NSS) and Research Excellence Framework (REF). You should also play an active role to contribute towards the Faculty strategic aims in Scholarship, Research and Knowledge Transfer.
