Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical responsibilities include providing veterinary care to patients, service to clients, training to veterinary students as a member of the Equine Medicine and Surgery Service in the Animal Health Center and other teaching of veterinary professional students.  This position includes shared on call duties with other faculty members (by phone and in person) overnight, on weekends and over holidays.  The successful candidate is expected to provide leadership in continually improving the program, to mentor students and house officers, and contribute heavily to the Equine Medicine specialty service at the AHC.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA accredited College of Veterinary Medicine.
Completion of an ACVIM Equine Internal Medicine Residency is required. A strong work ethic and sound clinical, teaching and leadership skills are required.
