The successful applicant will undertake research in lab of Prof. Fabienne Mackay within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Doherty Institute. The research program is focussed on the contributions of B cells to the autoimmune disease, systemic lupus erythematosus.

This project involves characterising the role immune signalling pathways in development of disease using in vivo, biochemical, molecular and cellular techniques. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake and analyse experiments of independent and original research.
