Job Description

The Senior Associate Athletics Director serves as a member of the senior administrative team. Provides oversight for student-athlete welfare, which includes academic, leadership and performance & wellness initiatives. Oversees and directs all academic, social and community related activities for student-athletes. Develops and implements leadership, mentoring and career development programs for student-athletes, coaches and staff. Serves as Title IX administrator. Serves as liaison to multiple on campus units, including but not limited to admissions, dean of students and wellness services. Works closely with other members of the senior team and respective units to insure that the objectives of the Director are accomplished. Serves as sport administrator for assigned programs and on league/national committees.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S. required. Master's Degree and at least five years of administrative experience at a Division 1 level college/university is preferred.
