Senior Research Associate
The Senior Research Associate will manage BSL-3 laboratory operations for all projects taking place within the Milken Institute School of Public Health SEH facility. They will also participate in the laboratory testing and analysis of specimens collected by or derived for Prof. Mores’ global network of research projects and clinical trials. The Senior Research Associate will report to Professor Mores and will work directly with him.
This experienced researcher carries out research/development activities by designing and conducting experiments in a controlled laboratory setting. Using a wide degree of creativity and latitude, the core responsibilities of this position are to make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results, with limited guidance from the Principal Investigator. This position compiles results and prepares technical reports and documentation of outcomes. This role is familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures, and can perform a variety of research tasks. This position typically reports to a project supervisor or project manager, and may provide guide to lower level staff.
